Item Description
15x22" thin art board with eight India ink panels from Dell Felix the Cat comic book #9 page 14 June-July 1949. Felix is trying to sleep outside under large book and has to return it and is shown in classic pose in panel 3 walking saying "I Can't Sleep Without Covers". He finds newspapers in a trash can and covers himself on a park bench but starts laughing. In panel 7 he says "Such Gags! How Can I Fall Asleep!" and last panel shows him walking saying "It Would Have To Be The Funnies!" Lower right blank corner tip has 1" diagonal crease, image area itself is clean and Exc. Classic Otto Messmer art with Felix in every panel drawn by his creator.
