Six figures total. 3.75x5.5x1.25" deep box has lid graphics of "Uncle Walt/Smitty/Skeezix/Herby". c. 1930s. Figures range in heights from 2.25" to 3-5/8". Set was made in Japan and distributed by N. Shure Co. Chicago, Ill. Figures have lt. paint wear. Uncle Walt is VG and other three are Fine. Unusual combination of characters from two different comic strips in one boxed set. Other two loose figures are nodders. Uncle Walt is 3.75" tall and Andy Gump is 4" tall. Both are from a set made in Germany c. 1920. Andy's coat has some color rubs, Fine. Uncle Walt is VF. Both of these figures would benefit from restringing as heads are a bit loose. All figures are nice likenesses.
