9.75" tall. c. 1960s with maker "Norcrest Japan" foil sticker on underside. Wonderful likeness with left hand in pocket and right hand holding shovel. Unsure of purpose, most likely a candy jar. Exc. Great figural piece. See "Smokey" jam jar by same maker #1038.
