Item Description
Large 9x12" stiff paper folder with six autographs acquired by newsman Harry McLaughlin when Nixon’s campaign train was in Pennsylvania. “Dick Nixon” and “Pat Nixon” signed by their photos. Above Nixon are signatures of Pa. Senator “Hugh Scott USS” and “Herb Klein” the National Press Secretary for Nixon’s 1960 campaign. At center and left are autographs of “George I. Bloom” the Pa. GOP “State Chairman” and “Ruth Glen Pennell” the Pa. GOP “Vice Chairman State Committee.” Folder has center crease and there is a much lighter vertical crease hardly showing on the front but more so on the back. Also some small creases along very upper edge. On interior is Eisenhower endorsement quotation praising Nixon. Still in VG condition and unique. From the collection of newspaper editor Harry McLaughlin and comes with Hake's COA.
