©Marvel Comics Group 1973-1974. Could be ordered as medallions or coins and in gold, silver or bronze. Two of three issued, each is a 1.5" dia. bronze coin depicting Spider-Man and Conan The Barbarian. " Spider-Man coin reads "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" and shows him crawling up wall. Reverse shows split image of Peter Parker and Spider-Man with web bkg. and reads "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility" as well as "Spider-Man First Story 1961." Conan coin reads "Conan The Barbarian...A Thief..A Reaver..A Slayer" and shows Conan in ancient ruins, reverse showing his helmet, sword and fur and reads "Barbarism Is The Natural State Of Mankind..And Barbarism Must Ultimately Triumph" along with "Conan The Barbarian First Appeared October, 1970." Each coin has "Official Marvel Collectors Coin" followed by corresponding Roman numerals I and III. Each coin has a tiny tarnish dot. Coins have a bit of patina but all are still Exc./NM. Marvel comic included featuring original ad for medallions. Fine. Extremely limited distribution. Each coin has unique serial number on rim. Nice quality.
