Item Description
Three from set of five, each 1.5" dia. ©1967 MCG. These were issued as a mail order premium through Marvel Comics and feature popular slang phrases used by the Marvel Bull Pen in their comic publications. "Brand Echh!", "Sheesh!" (slight off-center to right) and "Hang Loose!". These are scarce. Next button is 3" dia. ©1975 MCG. The 13 portraits around rim include Spider-Man, Conan, Hulk, Valkyrie, Daredevil, Dracula, Human Torch, Falcon, Captain America, Thing, Thor, Vision, Dr. Strange and the text reads "Marvel Comics Convention '75". Totally bright and glossy. The final button is 2.25" with bright red inscription "TG ACBAE Wants You." Striking image of Conan in imitation of Uncle Sam with finger pointed towards viewer. He holds huge double blade axe. Neal Adam's facsimile signature on the right-hand side. Issued for the "1976 American Comic Book Art Exposition." All are Exc.
