Item Description
Bisque figure is 1x3x3” tall with wonderful design of Barney feeding Spark Plug hay with both atop base. Underside has “DeBeck” signature stamp and is incised Germany. Back is marked ©1922-1924 by King Features Synd. Lt. aging to paint. Fine. Lot also comes w/1.5" tall cast metal figure of Spark Plug, complete w/blanket w/his name on it. Underside is marked "Copyright 1923 1924 By King Features Syndicate Inc. Germany." Nicely detailed painted features. Few paint flakes off blanket, slight darkening to paint. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
