Item Description
11x14" stiff cardboard. Issued for his successful re-election against strong challenge by South Dakota’s two-term governor Joe Foss. His name at top has three noticeable but relatively lt. horizontal creases from 6-7" long. Bottom has lt. 7" crease showing little below “Congress” plus lt. stain on letters “GRE” and lower margin plus thin line 3.5" up left and right margins. He signed in blue on white background at center right “George McGovern.” Signed in person for a personal friend and long time Democratic party activist. Fine. Comes with Hake’s COA.
