Lot of three. 6.5x9.5" program and menu folder for October 12, 1965 “Adams County (PA) Republican Dinner Gettysburg College Dining Hall.” Ford was keynote speaker and at time was minority whip, U. S. Representative of Michigan. Program has horizontal crease but is very clean. Program cover photo is identical to glossy 8x10". Viewed closely the inscription is easy to read as: “To Henry McLaughlin/With Best Wishes And/Warmest Personal Regards. Gerald R. Ford.” A few handling creases in reflected light, .5" scratch at top, .5" edge tear top left. Reverse margins have 10 pieces of masking tape. Fine and would mat to NM display. Included is 8.5x14" sheet from Ford’s office titled “Speech Excerpts Gettysburg, Pa.” This has small hole with archival tape repair and small missing surface paper from lower half. Much penciling on reverse. There is also a newspaper clipping story on the event written by McLaughlin. From the collection of newspaper editor Harry McLaughlin and comes with Hake's COA.
