Item Description
1911 music by J. M. Rumshisky Hebrew Publishing Company, New York. 10.5x13". Doubly significant sheet music published in Hebrew for recent Jewish immigrants to memorialize the greatest New York City disaster until 9/11. 148 workers perished and the subsequent upheaval helped to create both union growth and better working conditions. The tragedy has been called "The Start Of The New Deal". This year marks the 100 anniversary of the event. Couple small and faint handling creases. Clean and EXC.
