On his 8x10.5" personal “United States Senate” stationery is typed letter dated April 21, 1965. Below is recipient’s D. C. address and he begins letter using their first names. The two paragraphs read in full: “While I Know That Helping Create The John F. Kennedy Library Was A Labor Of Love For Most Of Us, I Still Want To Express My Personal Gratitude For Your Efforts. Your Assistance Contributed To A Significant Living Memorial Of Lasting Value, One Of Great Personal Meaning And One From The Success Of Which We Will All Derive Lasting Satisfaction.” His full name is typed and he signed “Bob Kennedy.” Paper is quite tanned all over with a .25" hairline sliver off right margin, although paper is not brittle. Two original fold lines. Comes with Hake’s COA.
