Item Description
Each is approx. 11.75" dia. Dawson's tray is c. 1940s with wonderful scene of well-dressed husband and wife at dinner table toasting each other with schooner of beer. Text includes "Dawson's Ale & Beer Naturally Better" and inside rim has repeat graphics with card deck motif including king of hearts. Tiny trace of wear but overall bright and Fine/VF. Rheingold tray is copyright L.B. Inc. 1933 with nice cartoon image of couple being married with caption just beneath "To Love, Honor And Drink Rheingold". Art is signed O. Soglow, creator of the pantomime comic strip "The Little King". Inside rim has text "Rheingold Good Beer/Scotch Thistle Brand Ale". Front has tiny trace of wear, underside has some lt. surface scratches with three very shallow dents at edges just barely noticeable from front. Bright and Fine/VF. Both are nicely designed.
