6-7/8x10" Vol. 1 #1 for Oct. 1936 with 96 inside pages. Front cover has nice art of Tailspin Tommy in open cockpit of plane using mounted machine gun. Comic book style cover art is by Fred Meagher, who would go on to do "Straight Arrow". Pulp is based on the Tailspin Tommy comic strip created by Hal Forrest. Published by C.J.H Publications New York. Covers have wear around edges with some dust soil and a few tiny edge tears. Front cover has .25x1.25" ink stamp date at upper left corner. Inside pages are evenly tanned and just a bit brittle. Overall cover and contents VG. "Bookery's Guide To Pulps" lists this issue in VG at $200. One of only two issues published. Scarce.
