Item Description
First is 11x19" paper celebrating "40 Years Of Planters Peanuts Success 1906/1946" with nice art image at left of Mr. Peanut gesturing toward factories in PA, VA, Canada, and CA. Lower right has art image of "Cocktail Salted Peanuts" tin and bottom area has art of bag of peanuts and jar of "Salted Mixed Nuts". Bottom is blank for store imprint. A few lt. handling creases, upper left corner tip is missing .5" bit of paper but image area will frame to bright and Exc. appearance. Next two signs are shrink wrapped. First is 14x22.25" thin cardboard with Mr. Peanut at left gesturing towards text "Planters Nut Department/Serve Yourself Pay Cashier". 1950s. Margin edges are lightly tanned but main image area is bright and Exc. Bottom area is blank for store imprint. Third sign is 12x20" paper with nice illustration of Mr. Peanut carrying jar of short-lived product "Planters Creamy Peanut Butter" towards family at table. Bottom portion is blank for store imprint. c. 1950s. Upper right corner tip has tiny crease, o/w bright and Exc. A nice lot of scarcer signs.
