Item Description
Boxed set is c. 1930s made exclusively for F.A.O. Schwartz. 10.5x18.25x1.5" deep cardboard box holds 13 inner box compartments with celluloid pieces including eyeglasses, eyeball, mouthpieces, mustaches, ears, and more. Inside lid has five examples of disguises that can be made with kit. Box is missing front lid flap and has wear around edges. VG/Fine. Contents appear unused and Exc. Group of five stiff paper die-cut masks are c. 1920s. Each is approx. 3.25x6.25" with art images of faces and noses. Includes two ethnic ones, one is black and one is Asian. Lightly but evenly tanned with some aging but all still display Fine. Interesting group. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
