Item Description
c. 1960s. Andy is 5.5" tall smoking cigarette with hands in pockets, Flo is 6" tall holding purse. Flo is marked on back "Heroulite". Each figure has flat back. Figures have some dust soil and back of Andy's hat and left arm have a few tiny paint chips as does back side of Flo. Despite problems, both display Fine. Andy Capp is a British comic strip created by Reg Smythe (1917-1998) which ran in British newspapers beginning Aug. 5, 1957. Great likenesses. A scarce set. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
