August 1981 story comes with matching printed comic book. Each thin art board is approx. 10.5x15.75" with India ink art. Art is by Sam Glanzman and Dick Ayers. Story is titled "Part One: Panzers Don't Hunt Solo!/What's The Price Of A General?". Storyline has three soldiers trapped in a German town held by Nazis with one agreeing to kill Gen. Patton until they can figure out a way to escape. One turns out to be an actual Nazi but is killed in the end. Action scenes include title page and double page. Nice example of Glanzman inking. "The Haunted Tank" logo is a standard photostat, o/w story art and text is all hand done. Exc. Comes with VG+ comic book which has this art as the first story.
