Studio issued photograph has ink stamp on reverse "License To Reproduce With Copyright Notice Granted Newspapers, Magazines, And Other Periodicals." Lower right side of front has three hairline indentations and slight bend in 5" area, though mostly just visible in reflected light. Extreme corner tips have lt. creases, and top of center image area has faint crease. Reverse side has a few lt. tanned spots from scrapbook removal. Photo will mat and frame to Fine/VF appearance. Merle Oberon (1911-1979) was nominated for an Academy Award in 1935 for The Dark Angel and had her most renowned role as Cathy in Wuthering Heights in 1939. A haunting and classic image.
