1.25" tall hinged pair of brass plates in the shape of a flowing American flag with accent below of a hand holding the flagpole. Along the right edge, a small tab is released and the flag front springs open to a width of 1-5/8" revealing paper real photos without dot patterns of McKinley and Hobart against a high luster brass background. There is a tiny bit of luster loss from the design of the hand and a pinpoint speck of paper from McKinley's forehead has transferred itself onto Hobart's left eye area but this is virtually just a pinpoint and hardly showing. The enamel paint on the front is missing a couple of .25" long or smaller flakes and a few tiny dots but as these come the amount of paint remaining is well above average.
