This item is cataloged as Hake #3003 but this version is a pocket mirror with glass on the underside. There are a number of spots of silvering missing from an area at the mirror's center about 1x1" wide although well over 85% of the silvering remains intact. Also on the mirror side a 1" sliver of celluloid failed to fold under the collet but it lays quite flat against the collet and is all but totally undetectable when viewed from the front. The front has a few long but very light hairline surface scratches showing only in reflected light but for practical purposes the piece displays Mint. The button version of this is in Hake's Revised Prices 2004 at $475, but this mirror version is unlisted. Morry Greener Collection.
