Item Description
Each is 6.75x8.5" soft cover with 36 bw pages of comic strip reprints. Books are # 2 and 3 from boxed set of five issued c.1935. Titles and dates of comic strips are: “In The Circus” 1926 and “The Haunted House” 1927. Dates shown are the original copyright dates of the strips and books actually came out in 1934 or later and are extremely abbreviated versions of the hard cover editions. It is suspected that this series of books came out the Christmas season following “Treasure Chest Of Famous Comics” which contained earlier editions. Circus title has some cover dust soil with a few lt. moisture marks on front and back covers. Covers are VG. Last inside page has moisture mark at blank bottom edge otherwise content Fine. Haunted House title has some cover dust soil. Fine. Contents are VF. Nice specialty front cover and title page art by creator Harold Grey.
