Item Description
Both are c.1960s. Toothbrush box is 5 3/8x7 7/8x 1.5" deep with art image on top of Popeye holding giant toothbrush. Box has tape residue on two sides, side panel staples have oxidation. Fine. Box holds 12 sealed toothbrushes with foil labels at top marked “Sailor”. Additional text is in Japanese. Toothbrushes are sealed and Mint. Other box is 4 7/8x8x1 5/8" deep with lid art image of Popeye making muscles. Box has trace of lt. wear around edges of lid. Fine. Box contains Popeye candy containers made of soft plastic sealed in cellophane. Each contains small rock candy particles. Contains 30 as packaged. Contents are sealed and Mint. Nice pair with interesting art.
