Item Description
4 7/8" long yellow catalin plastic fountain pen has Popeye and Olive Oyl on either side of clip. Comes with 4.75" long red catalin plastic mechanical pencil with image of Popeye next to clip. Both c.1930s and made by Epenco. Pen has luster loss to clip and bladder lever,otherwise both are Exc. 10 5/8" long c.1930s box made by Eagle Pencil company has nice lid art of Popeye. Box has trace of lt. dust soil and slight color fade. Fine. Contains 10.25" long giant mechanical pencil with image of Popeye saying “Well, Blow Me Down! This Is What I Calls A Marvelusk Pencil”. Pencil has a few hairlines in glossy finish but blends well and pencil still displays VF. Fourth item is 8.25" wide die-cut thin cardboard store display card with image of Popeye with large pencil on his ear. Made by Linton Pencil Co. ©1949. Card holds three pencils which have metal bands around eraser tips with Popeye images. Card has some lt. creasing with bit of wear around edges. Fine. Pencils are Exc. Nice graphics overall.
