Volume I has Alex Raymond front cover art showing Flash with Dale and Dr. Zarkov with back cover Alex Raymond self portrait. Contains eight complete stories with dates ranging from 1934 to 1938. Volume II has front cover art with Flash and Dale in rocket ship cockpit with planet Earth straight ahead. Reprints eight stories from 1939 to 1944 with art by Alex Raymond followed by Austin Briggs. Volume III has front cover art which includes Flash, Ming the Merciless, and Dr. Zarkov. Reprints eight stories from 1940 and 1941 with art by Austin Briggs. Book one intersperses stories printed on either white paper or pulp paper, books two and three have stories printed on pulp paper. Books are undated by likely published in the late '60s or early 1970s. Printed by Fratelli Spada, an Italian comics publisher founded in 1956. All text is in Italian. Covers have some dust soil and light aging, Volume II has tanning in .5" area along top and right side edges of front cover and a few moisture marks on back cover. Covers otherwise Fine with VF/Exc. interior pages. Superb art throughout including reprint of very first Flash Gordon story.
