5.25x7-5/8" c. 1948 published by Diversey Romance Novel. #1. Has 128 text pages with classic front cover photo of woman in high heels smoking cigarette and fastening stocking to garter belt. Story is by Felice Swados. Text at top of front cover reads "A Shameful Past Lead Her There-Scarlet Secrets Kept Her There". Back cover has text ad promoting book #2 "Broadway Virgin". Covers have some wear with handling creases and color rubs. Some dust soil more heavy on back cover text ad. Insides pages lightly but evenly tanned though not brittle and have original owner's name and date in ink at top of first inside page. Good/VG overall. A classic.
