Item Description
From same company as previous lot #2369. 18.5x28.75" cardboard easel back sign has large image at right with Mickey holding large "Flare-Top Cake" ice cream cone with Donald at top of cone holding dripping paintbrush next to rwb patriotic text "They're All American Favorites!" Rest of sign has cartoon train with text "Flavor-ized Ice Cream Cones" on coal car. Timothy Mouse is standing on train and Pluto is running along side. Minnie is standing on top with Goofy and one nephew on coal car followed by other nephews, Snow White and Seven Dwarfs, Three Little Pigs, and clowns from Dumbo with Dumbo flying above holding feather. Dandy and Glasses crows from Dumbo are standing on top of billboard which has text "Delicious Ice Cream In Flare-Top The Flavor-ized Ice Cream Cones". Sign has slight fade with some creasing around edges and some moisture discoloration across 3" area of bottom. Lower right corner is missing .5x2.25" bit of surface paper. Sign has slight bend. Overall VG. A wonderful sign featuring characters from that period. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
