Item Description
For the history behind this item see the previous item. 1.75" long with a brass medallion soldered to a pair of brass wire circles which have a horizontal barpin across the reverse. The center piece shows profile close up portrait of Uncle Sam facing left with the text below "Salute Or Fight." The piece has very minor luster loss and the reverse pin has just the slightest bend but it does not interfere with its functioning. The medallion with Uncle Sam has NM luster. Only example we've seen and a rare piece relating to this 1914 event. See following item related to the Mexican Border War.
