Item Description
This is the first we've been able to offer this very graphic 1952 button which is 1.75" with backpaper from "Phila. Badge Co." The spring pin holds a long 5" rwb ribbon. The gold color on the dates is a little faint in a few places but still readable as "1789-1953/42nd Inaugural/Jan 20, 1953/Official Michigan Party." The button itself reads "President Dwight D. Eisenhower/Vice President Richard M. Nixon." The button is essentially Mint condition. It is cataloged as Hake #2004 with Revised Price 2004 value of $1400 and the example in the book does not include the ribbon which is on this piece. Morry Greener Collection.
