Item Description
1-1/8" well made brass pin which includes his name below four larger apparent letters from an alphabet unknown to us. The back of the piece has a horizontal brass pin held by a small circular plate and done in the style frequently seen on items of European origin. On the front there is a sliver of enamel 1/16" wide by .25" long off the far left side. First we've seen and we have not discovered this item pictured in the Kennedy campaign item catalog recently issued by Harvey Goldberg (see item #381). The look and manufacturing style of the piece does seem to be consistent with his years in office. Perhaps used during some overseas trip.
