Item Description
High quality 14karat gold award ring is nicely detailed including images of boxing gloves on side and "Top Rank" name in large letters on one side. Center has ruby stone. Weight of ring is approximately 1 ounce with stone. Inside has incised text "14K BM Mitch Hampp". Hampp was George's corner man for this legendary fight when Foreman at age 45, became the oldest man ever to become heavyweight boxing champion of the world when he knocked out Michael Moorer. Hampp was also a Top Rank boxing coordinator who ran the Top Rank gym in Las Vegas for over 20 years. Ring is NM and complete with original generic gift box. Great for display or wear. Quite a piece of boxing history.
