8-5/8x11.25" soft cover program for May 30, 1929 event has nice cover art of boy with homemade racer. Contains 92 b/w pages loaded with great ads and Indy 500 related content for race which began in 1911 with this one being won by Ray Keech. Page two has photo of officials including Eddie Rickenbacker with the noted aviator listed as President. Contents include statistics of previous races, photos of previous winners and photos of competitors of this race. Covers have lt. dust soil and bit of edge wear. Spine has staple pulls but cover still attached. Overall covers Fine, contents VF. Scarce. Extensive coverage. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
