Item Description
Overall size is 2.5x4.5x3.5" tall. From c. 1932 exceptional series of Mickey and Minnie metal figures, some of which were designed as useful objects such as this ink well as well as playing card containers, banks, etc. Features 3.25” tall cast metal Mickey atop base and standing next to a round container with hinged lid that serves as the ink well. “Mickey Mouse” name appears on one side of his body, Disney copyright on the other while underside of base is marked “Germany.” Great image of Mickey with arms outstretched and complete with tail. Moderate scattered paint wear, some on Mickey but more so on the inkwell. Fine. Very rare, the only time in our 45 years we have seen this variety.
