Item Description
1930s. 10" tall velvet with stuffed head that has felt ears, oilcloth eyes. Missing string whiskers. Also missing Steiff button from left ear as well as cardboard tag. The mother-of-pearl buttons remain intact. Obvious aging to face which now appears tan. Also has aging and trace of color fade to hands and lower portion of body. However, puppet remains structurally sound. Overall still a Fine example of this classic Steiff. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
