2.25" with mirror on reverse which has a 1" dia. circle of missing silvering. Rest of silvering remains Exc. Curl reads "St. Louis Button Co." Front of the piece reads "Compliments Of St. Louis Regalia Co. Successors To J.R. Parson Flag & Regalia Co./The Quincy Regalia Co./Parson & Co./Importers Of Gold And Silver Laces, Fringes, Gimps And Ornaments/1120 Pine St." At center is diagonal list of their products reading "Mfrs. Of Flags/Banners/Badges/Seals/Lodge Regalia/Costumes/Uniforms/Paraphernalia." One of the few and the earliest self-advertising item we have seen for this famous button maker. c. 1910. Celluloid is Exc. and displays Mint. Rare.
