Item Description
Striking graphic design on 2-1/8" celluloid mirror by W&H. Silvering on the underside has wavy lines in it but silvering remains about 95% intact. There is some light stain but showing from the front only the very slightest bit on the extreme right edge. Depicted against black is a young domestic servant holding a package of product in one hand next to the text "At Last! They Cure And Prevent Disease. Honest Non-Alcoholic Medicines At A Price Within The Reach Of Everybody/25¢/They Are Worth Their Weight In Gold. No Experiment, They Are Established. If You Have Not Read Our 'Home Treasure' A Most Useful Book, Sent Free On Application, Don't Delay. Send Your Address, Distinctly Written To Sovereign Remedy Co. 1322 Arch St. Philadelphia, Pa." Cello surface has about two dozen extremely faint pinpoint indents at left and top that show barely at all unless catching reflected light. Piece still displays Extremely Fine and is a beautifully designed and rare medical mirror.
