Item Description
#268 ©1935 King Features Syndicate, Inc. Made by Hoge Mfg. Co. New York, New York. Painted pressed steel hull is 14.5" long and holds seated 5" tall tin litho Popeye. Toy has original tin litho oars and pipe and aluminum rudder and seat. Also has nicely made wooden display stand. Decal is 100% complete. Windup mechanism works well. Paint has some spidering on outside of hull and Popeye figure has scattered moderate wear with bit of lt. oxidation here and there. Overall VG. Still a large impressive toy with Popeye The Sailor in an actual working boat.
