See previous item #2372, this is the companion girls model and was also issued in the Fall of 1937. This box is smaller 2.5x5x1.5" deep with triangular insert. Lid features same image of Mickey as previous item although a totally different image of him appears on the inside of the lid. White areas of the box have aged, top left corner has .75" sliver of missing surface paper. Paper hinge on back is split but lid still attached although top back panel has some small pieces of top surface paper missing. Underside of box has 2" dia. moisture stain. Box remains tight and color is strong. Fine. Comes with original warranty paper which is VG. Watch has 1x1.25" metal case. Has 14 link metal band with pair of attached 7/8" tall enamel on brass charms of Minnie and Donald. Watch dial features image of Mickey with animated hands, second hand disc features single image of Mickey that revolves as seconds tick. Case shows just tiniest trace of wear but both case and link band have near full bright luster and display Exc. Charms are NM. Crystal shows trace of surface wear and has slightly yellowed but dial remains Exc. Watch can be wound but not running and would benefit from a cleaning. One of the top Disney timepieces.
