Item Description
The first lapel stud has logo at center surrounded by "Clerical Employees Association/H.W. Region." The second lapel stud also in enamel has logo at center and reads "Safety First." Both of these have a threaded post and screw cap reverse. The smallest button is .75" and has center logo with text "No Accident Drive." This has early Bastian Bros. backpaper. There is one litho at 1-1/8" reading "Operation Beaver" and picturing a beaver as a railroad worker with broom, hammer and paint bucket. The "PRR" logo appears twice as well as on the paint bucket. Thin line of paint off the extreme outer edge but rest is clean. Next are four celluloids 1.25". The first is quite early and c. 1916 but has a large piece of celluloid missing and brown stain as well. It reads in part "P.R.R. 8 Hour Day/Time And One Half For Overtime." The three others in this size all relate to safety. The one picturing an owl is from 1953 and this has two cello cracks but showing little. The one dated for 1951 has some stain around the bottom margin. The third one is Exc. Next is 1.5" from 1930 reading "Altoona Works Veteran Employees Outing Association." This has some light tan marks and a tiny .25" crack at lower right. Last is an item from the museum at "Horseshoe Curve Altoona, PA." This is dated on the reverse price sticker as being from 1993.
