Item Description
Each of these is 1.25". Vast majority have a backpaper either Bastian, Whitehead & Hoag, or Phila. Badge with a few possible additions. The top ten buttons in the photo show Santa facing right. The upper most button is one of the earliest printings of this design and has the most appealing range and depth of color. This reads "Shop At Genung's And Save." This as well as eight of the others in this design are from the 1930s and '40s. The example in row 4 #1 although looking much like the others has a white painted back and c. 1960s. The nine buttons with Santa facing left mostly date from the 1950s. The one exception is row 3 #2 which is a 1960s or so variation on the one next to it which is at least a decade earlier. An excellent group with no stain and high gloss. All are Exc. to Mint.
