8.25x8.75" sheet of animation paper has 5.5x7" printed red outline and inside of this box is original art in lead pencil w/some fleshtone colored pencil accents. Great image of Geppetto holding a fishing pole, Figaro has fishing line tied to his tail. Bottom margin of sheet has "Original WDP" ink stamp. 1939. Comes w/bw photocopy of label originally issued w/these story sketches and notes that these were meant to "Represent The Translation Of Initial Creative Ideas Into Graphic Form" followed by the animation drawings and then painted cels. These story sketches were sold by Courvoisier Galleries. Top left 1.25x1.5" corner tip is missing, top right corner tip has tape residue stain. Other margin/handling wear but art remains Exc. Much scarcer than a production drawing and with much more detailed art.
