Item Description
10.5x16.25" Whitman #925 ©1938. Has cardboard cover and three pages. Book features nice front cover illustration of Ferdinand while the three pages and back cover have a total of 20 full color perforated punchouts which include "Five Men With Funny Hats, Ferdinand's Mama, Young Ferdinand, Banderilleros," matador, others. Few loose perfs but all remains intact. Trace of cover aging more so on back than front. Back also has 1" and 3" ink streaks along left edge. One punchout on back has tiny 1/8" piece missing from bkg. around body, not from the punchout itself, and only noticeable upon close inspection. 1" fabric spine covering split. All are minor flaws and book over retains great appearance for display. Cover is VF, pages NM. Very nice book and scarce. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
