1.25" with backpaper of "Stern & Co., Cleveland, O." with union bug from Baltimore. Button pictures beneath the caption "Strongest On Earth" the man who held the American Heavyweight Championship in 1901, 1903, and 1905. Jenkins fought the legendary Frank Gotch nine times. Top button text reads "I Wear The Tom Jenkins Shoe" and below is the shoemaker text "Miller Bros., Stores All Over." Undated but among the very earliest sports personality product endorsement buttons. Very tiny surface wear marks but only in reflected light. Exc. and displays Mint. About our third in 45 years.
