Item Description
3x9" ribbon badge has embossed brass bar at top designating "Washington Camp No.107/Camden, N.J." Below this is embossed brass frame with a pair of eagles looking inward to the center section holding a gorgeous 1" color celluloid portrait of Washington. Below this is a large shield again flanked with eagle heads at the top (luster off of one) holding celluloid insert showing the logo of the group with their name above. On the fabric ribbon the group's name is printed in bold gold lettering. The reverse of the piece is similar but done in brilliant silver on black for use during funerals. Ribbon below has extensive brass thread tassels. A gorgeous piece from the early 1900s.
