Item Description
2.25" tall with six small brass prongs holding the domed celluloid to a brass reverse plate with horizontal bar pin. This item is constructed in the same manner as the Queen Louise pin #919. It is also similar to an example we had in Auction 202 although that version of the frame had a wider brass edge around the celluloid. On this piece only the six tiny prongs show from the front. Depicted is beautiful woman with 1920s hairstyle accented by flowers and leaves around her neck area and she stares intently at a multi-color flying butterfly. Superb color all against golden background. Essentially Mint as made.
