Item Description
Superb high quality bronze sculpture atop polished marble base. Impressive size of 19" tall w/10" dia. base. From a very limited edition of just 200 and this is "45." Convention price was $2,600 and it was an instant sell-out. Piece was done by sculptor Paul Vought based on Carl Barks original illustrations. Wonderful, expressive image of Mickey based on the 1936 animated short "Thru The Mirror." Depicts Mickey in top hat and holding a cane as he balances atop a curled strip of film. This film strip has seven additional images of him in top hat. Top front of base has metal plaque w/all pertinent text including edition number. Top back of base has large, bold gold felt tip pen signatures of both Carl Barks and Paul Vought. Also comes w/illustrated COA folder signed by both in black ink. Comes in original plain cardboard box w/inner packing. Box Fine. Bronze is Mint as made. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
