This beautifully made necklace from the 1930s is marked on reverse of figural pendant "Cop. D.S. Fleischer Studio Inc./Czechoslov." Enamel paint on brass w/simulated stone accent pieces. Pendant is 1x1.5" w/attached 1" segmented chain. Pendant depicts Betty w/golf club bag slung over one shoulder walking along w/Bimbo. Below her feet is a jade-like stone w/tiny corner piece missing, on close inspection it is likely as made. Necklace has elaborate hanging loop and intricate chain made with brass tubes accented with red glass beads. Pendant has just some scattered pinpoint dots of missing color. VF. Very attractive piece of jewelry. This is only the second time we have offered one of these in our 45 years, this example having a more elaborate chain. The previous example sold for $2,645.00.
