Item Description
C. 1930s 2.5x7.5x2.5" box has colorful applied label on lid. Text includes "Betty-Boop Des. & Copyright By Fleischer Studios Made In Japan". 7" tall. Celluloid figure of Betty mounted on a 2.5" dia. painted tin base. Separate head is mounted to a nodding mechanism which has an attached counter-weight. Underside of base has winder mechanism. Works. Back of head marked "Made In Japan." Back of leg has heart-shaped label reading "Betty-Boop Des. & Copyright By Fleischer Studios." This label shows moderate wear in the form of color rubs. VG. Celluloid head-body has some lt. age spotting, more evident on body than head. Still displays Fine overall with no dents or cracks in the celluloid. A classic toy featuring this iconic 30s character.
