Item Description
Set of six thin plastic puppets, each about 2x3.5" w/character image and name printed on front along with text on bottom "From Pillsbury". c. 1964. Set includes "Freckle Face Strawberry, Loud Mouth Lime, Goofy Grape, Rootin' Tootin' Raspberry, Injun Orange, Chinese Cherry." Injun Orange and Chinese Cherry were changed shortly after their introduction due to complaints from ethnic groups. Set is NM. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold, accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
