Auction #203 - Part II
Item numbers 1429 through 3205 in auction 203
Item Description
1.75" tall die-cut litho tin with a tab at the top which has never been folded down. Front of the tab has the name of the department store sponsor "Wieboldts" and the back of the bear is covered in writing reading "Wieboldt's/Tune In/The Cinnamon Bear/W-G-N/5:30 P.M./Daily/Except Sat. & Sun." Tiniest bit of brass luster loss off the reverse with a pinpoint or two of tan rust marks and a similar on the front upper left of the tab but these are very small and minor and the piece still retains Exc. paint and luster. This rare 1940s premium is listed in the Hake Guide as CIN-1 with values in Good of $100.00, in Fine of $300.00, and in NM of $600.00. This example with few tiny marks and trace of wear is at least VF.
