Item numbers 1429 through 3205 in auction 203
Item Description
This iconic post-war space themed ring was issued by Kix in 1951. The brass luster ring base is covered with designs including a flying rocket ship accented by stars while on the other side a rocket heads towards the moon which has small details of eyes, nose and mouth. Ring top is a tall red plastic casing holding an internal spring which locks into position. Ring originally came with three rockets although this example has only two. These are tall and slender and still glow in the dark. The rockets are particularly scarce as if they are launched in an uncontrolled environment they can soar away to oblivion. The ring is Exc. and with near full luster. Working perfectly.
